Reality Check: Who got voted off what this week?
For those of you who live the thrill of seeing someone's dreams get dashed as they are voted off reality TV, this was a bad week for you!
America's Next Top Model was a clip show, American Idol raised $60 million with their "Idol Gives Back" show leaving Dancing with the Stars to look like the bad guys as they gave someone the boot.
"Idol Gives Back" dominated the American Idol competition this week, and as host Ryan Seacrest teased two hours of a "shocking" elimination -- there turned out to be some great performances from the Idol contestants, the original Idol Kelly Clarkson, former Idol Carrie Underwood, Annie Lennox, Celine Dion, Elvis and more. It was great, and they even gave the contestants a 'charity' week by not eliminating anyway.
Congrats to Idol for raising over $60 million for charity!
Dancing with the Stars:
Heather Mills run on 'Dancing with the Stars' came to an end on Tuesday. The one-legged Brit was taking America by storm proving that she is more than Paul McCartney's estranged wife, but it all fell out from under her this week.
Despite dancing with a prosthetic leg, Mills proved to be a fierce competitor week after week. Heather admitted she didn't practice as much as the others, but she left with dignity on Tuesday.
"I would like to thank the public," she said on Tuesday night's show. "Wherever I go, kids are like, 'Oh my God.' But the best part is that we raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for animals."
Websites were taking bets on if or when Mills artificial leg might flight off during the competition. I guess those who said it would stay attached are the winners.
Let's hope for a better week of elmination next week! If this keeps up, we'll have to start reporting on Flavor of Love: Charm School.
