Snoop Dog avoids prison
Calvin Broadus Jr., aka Snoop Dogg appeared in court Wednesday on gun and marijuana possession charges, and we heard little from the rapper other than "no contest."
Snoop avoided prison by agreeing to five years' probation and 800 hours of community service.
Normally this would be simple for someone like Snoop Dogg who runs his own little league football team, however the judge said that only 400 could come from his work with his football players.
Snoop has managed to really turn his image around over the past few years, so this will actually be good for him. Knowing him, he'll enjoy it -- but of course continue to travel with weed :)
