Blake is a wonderful entertainer and I can't wait for him to release his 1st CD! Jordin is wonderful also but Blake is the man! I would have been happy with either one of them winning!
My daughter and I are going to the American Idols Live concert on 7/7/07 in Tampa, FL. It will be awesome getting to see them both perform in our Floor seats (up front).
Everyone should be happy for all of the contestants this year! It's hard getting up there and doing what they had to do. Great job to all! To the 1st comment from Sharry, get a life!

Jordin won because the song fitter her and not him and most people realized that, the show is stupid because some people vote on looks(like hannah) and not their vocal ability. Jordin has an amazing voice and I for sure will buy her record, as for Blake hes just an alright vocalist but his beatboxing and entertaining skills just help him out. But tbh beatboxing sounds bad on record, beatboxing is more of a live thing so i don't see hisrecord doing that great. Jordin's will, she has a pure voice. Sharry did go a bit far but tbh the africa children, if they made a record that would be soooo much more money going to africa then just their live performances.Aliwade you said it coratz to them both they both will have good careers

I've been reading these boards throughout the 6th AI season...here, there and everywhere...and one thing I've noticed consistently across the board is that there are a LARGE number of people who are DOWNRIGHT ILLITERATE...and an even larger portion who are spelling/grammar challenged!!! I can't decipher or even understand half of what I read!!

Blake rocks and I voted for him like crazy!! I'm a 43 year old professional and a single-Mother. I'm not a teenager. I now have all of Blake's performances burned onto a CD. I listen to them in chronological order and I can literally hear Blake getting better and better! With the exception of BeeGees night and that horrid "This is my now" song, he improved consistently and will continue to do so, and I believe he will DEFINITELY sell more albums than Jordin...but then again, why does it have to be a competition? They both are great and they both won!!

Another thing I've noticed consistently across the internet is...as usual...the blacks want to play the race card....give it up...it is SOOOO OLD!! We're all in this together and y'all ain't no different than us...except for the fact that you won't quit drawing lines and you can't even see that your attempts to deem WHITES the racists actually ARE acts of racism on your part. You have your black television station that INTENTIONALLY excludes whites, you have your black radio stations that CONSTANTLY crack jokes about whites, you have your black colleges where most of your children get to go for free, while the rest of us have to save money or go into debt to send our children to college. The bottom line is, we all live in the same country, with the same government and the same constitution AND THE SAME OPPORTUNITIES....you can get the same job that I can get, if you have the qualifications...and guess what? You can get the qualifications just like I can. I am a white female, single-Mother who works a full-time job and goes to school part-time and I am SO SICK of going to the grocery store and having to ration and count my pennies to buy groceries for myself and my children only to see a black woman in front of me, whose clothes and hair and nails and jewelry indicate that she has a sufficient amount of spendable cash, whip out an EBT card to pay for her groceries!!!! I get treated amicably by most black men, they are kind and courteous...but I have had black women break in front of me in line at the grocery store and shove the bumpers of their car in front of me, even downright cut me off...and do I EVER get a thank you wave? HELL NO!!! For some reason black women think we owe them something!!! I'm freaking sick of it!!! Get over it, get over yourself (you put your pants on every day like the rest of us), get a job and stop using my tax dollars to buy your groceries when you can EASILY work for the money yourself! We have about 8 handicapped parking spots at my office. Out of about 800 people we only have 2 truly handicapped people: one who has no knee caps and is on crutches and the other who is a paraplegic and in a wheelchair (both white men)....ALL of the other handicapped spaces are taken up by black women who use their dead grandma's handicap tag because they think they are 'too good' to park and walk!!! I'm sick, sick, sick of it and I don't cut them ANY slack!!! They are no better or no worse off than I am....PLEASE...GET OVER YOURSELF!!!

if there is anything that's old its the "playing the race card" and "the black welfare queen" usual racist rant that is in fashion these days of LOSERS such as yourself that see the country going down the drain and need to blame the usual scapegoat. Other Folks like you play the entire race deck of cards and have been for some time. You are posting this jive all over the internet, arent you? the same rant, I bet.You claim to be a "professional", a professional what? How are you going to imply a people are lazy when YOU are too lazy to check out if your accusations are factual? example, MOST of the "black" stations are WHITE OWNED, sadly, black ownership has been declining rapidly, other ethnic groups own multiple stations across in their areas, and centers of learning that ARE exclusive to their groups, why dont vent your bile on them? And what about these country stations are de facto segregate? Also If you had the smallest bit of knowledge, you would know that not only do historically black colleges not exclude whites, some black colleges are majority white! And to say that black students are these colleges and anywhere else getting a free ride and not going into debt....(although I wish it was true)
that is such an outright LIE, or what I call "resentment fantasies" that folks in this country build up towards a people who are losing more than they are- its a twisted pathology. I dont believe for a second you live or shop anywhere near black people, you have too much vitriolic hatred to do so.
The only group that is lucky enough to have free tuition are Native American college students in land grant state colleges and such, more power to them.
EVERYONE that knows the internet knows that the posters
who predominate are young white people who many times like to imitate other folks. You have to go out of your way to look for authetic black discussions on the net.
