So-Cal is a stir over rumors that Britney Spears will be performing a few secret concerts taking place starting with a performance tonight at the House of Blues in San Diego.

A mysterious band named M+Ms is scheduled to perform Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the House of Blues chains, but representative won't say whether M+Ms has anything to do with Spears.

PerezHilton.blog is reporting that M+M stands for M=mom and Ms (as she is now single). 

If Spears does make an appearance, this would be Britney's first public music performance since announcing that she was going to take some time off "to enjoy life" and "just chill" shortly after marrying Kevin Federline who she has since divorced.

Some internet sources are reporting that she has cancelled the appearances.
