Lindsay Lohan has truly learned the road to stardom.  Here's the formula:  party hard, do something really stupid, go to rehab. 

That's right Lindsay Lohan has checked into Promises, the same rehab facility where Britney Spears recently called home.

"Lindsay admitted herself to an intensive medical rehabilitation facility on Memorial Day," her people told TMZ.blog Tuesday afternoon. "Because this is a medical matter, it is our hope that the press will appreciate the seriousness of the situation and respect the privacy of Lindsay as well as the other patients receiving treatment at the facility."

Lindsay was busted for DUI early on Saturday morning after she crashed her car into the curb.  Ms. Lohan was seen out Sunday partying until the wee hours in Hollywood.  I guess this was her going away party to the club scene.

Maybe she'll come out of this as good as Britney spears did!  (sarcasm intended).  This is Lindsay's second stab at rehab.  The first time she treated herself as an out-patient so she could come and go as she pleases. 

This time, it looks like it is for real!  The twenty year is old is expected to stay for at least 30 days.  Hopefully she will be out in time to celebrate Paris Hilton's release from jail party expected at the end of June!
