In case everyone doesn't already know, I love the Olsen Twins!  It's sad, but true...

That's why I'm very excited to report that Mary-Kate Olsen has landed a job on one of my favorite shows, Weeds.  Unfortunately, Ashley won't be along for the ride. 

The twins are branching out to solo work!

In her first major role without Ashley by her side, Mary-Kate will play Tara, a devout Christian girl living in the community of Majestic who becomes a love interest of Nancy Botwin's (played by Mary-Louise Parker) son Silas (played by Hunter Parrish).

Olsen will appear in 10 of the 15 episodes when the series' third season premieres Aug. 13.
