As Ryan Seacrest pointed out at the beginning of the show, American Idol is dragging the results show out for an hour.  I can however tell you that they have already eliminated Phil Stacey. 

Phil was the first of two contestants to get the boot on the Wednesday night results show.  On Tuesday night, Stacey performed Bon Jovi's "Blaze of Glory," and the judges basically agreed it was his best performance of the competition.  I guess it was just a little too late.

Idol announced that two finalists will be eliminated this week.  STORY DEVELOPING.
