Reality Check: Who got voted off what this week?
As we mentioned on last week's Reality Check neither American Idol nor America's Next Top Model eliminated anyone. This week, Idol made up for it by eliminiating two finalists. Let's get right to it....
Dancing with the Stars:
Everyone may have known his name, but they surely weren't voting for the Cheers star as John Ratzenberger was voted off of Dancing with Stars Tuesday night.
Ratzenberger thanked his professional partner, Edyta Sliwinska, saying, "Her kindness and patience and friendship has really been astounding."
It was fair enough that John went home this week, because he doesn't really stand a chance to win. Plus, he didn't have the star-studded cheering section that his competitor Ian Zering did. Several of Ian's 90210 alum showed up to cheer him on! Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling (all former fell 90210 stars) were spotted together in the crowd, something we haven't seen in years!
I guess reality TV can bring people together!
American Idol:
Phil Stacey was sent packing about half way through Wednesday's American Idol results show; but Phil wasn't the only one sent home. Chris Richardson joined Stacey on a flight home.
Phil was the first of two contestants to get the boot on the Wednesday night results show. On Tuesday night, Stacey performed Bon Jovi's "Blaze of Glory," and the judges basically agreed it was his best performance of the competition. I guess it was just a little too late.
It was seemingly only a matter of time until Chris was eliminated as he didn't have the powerful voice to hold up against Melinda, LaKisha, Jordin or Blake.
Richardson had a tough time creating an identity of his own during the competition often being called a "Justin Timberlake wannabe." I wonder who would ever call him that?!
Wednesday night's show also featured a performance by Bon Jovi.
America's Next Top Model:
It was go-see week on ANTM. Do any of these contestants EVER watch the previous seasons? People are late every year, and they are bitched out over. Still, these girls can't be on time! This year it was Natasha and Brittany. Jasleen won the challenge. More clients wanted to book her than any other model wannabe.
In the end Jasleen's name was called first and Brittany's was called last. It came down to Dionne and Brittany, but they sent Brittany home for being a bitch. She flipped out on her cabbie earlier in the show making an ass of herself.
