This was an exciting week for reality TV eliminations.  America's Next Top Model picked a winner, while American Idol eliminated its frontrunner leaving the competition up in the air!  Meanwhile, on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, the top three was revealed.

 

Ian Ziering voted off Dancing with the Stars 

Former 90210 hottie Ian Ziering was voted off Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday leaving Laila Ali, Joey Fatone and Apolo Anton Ohno to compete for the championship.

Ian has done a good job this season, and even earned a 58 out of 60, but that was the lowest score of the evening.  Ziering's score combined with audience votes sent him packing.

The winner of Dancing with the Stars will be crowned on May 22nd.

 

Meanwhile, over at America's Next Top Model a winner was crowned.

Jaslene, Natasha and Renee went into the final three, but most suspected that it would come down to Jaslene and Natasha for the final two... and it did!  In the end, Jaslene triumphed as America's Next Top Model.

For the final runway show, Jaslene and Natasha were joined by a slew of models and last year's America's Next Top Model winner CariDee English for an evolution themed show. 

Both model hopefuls were VERY impressive, but I actually expected Natasha to win.  The show was VERY hectic and at one point, Natasha even lost her skirt but kept walking.  If they wouldn't have told me it was an accident, I may have thought it was meant to happen.  It was that kind of show.  At this point, I eat my own words.  I do, however, think Jaslene will make a great ANTM.  She was actually my favorite going into tonight's show.

As the winner of America's Next Top Model, Jaslene gets the cover of Seventeen magazine, the title of CoverGirl and a modeling contract with... not to mention TONS of great publicity and face time.

Idol's shocking elimination leaves only two!

Each year American Idol has a shocking elimination, but it has never come so late in the game. 

On Wednesday night, the Idol finalists were narrowed down to the Top 2 contestants and surprisingly Melinda Doolittle was eliminated.  That leaves Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis to duke it out for the American Idol title.

I never thought or predicted that Melinda Doolittle would face the fire this week.  I thought for sure that either Blake or Jordin would get cut this week, but I was sooo wrong. 

At this point, it is probably unpredictable and will be VERY close. 

Next week we will find out who the winner of the American Idol 6 will be.
