Bob Barker signs off for last time
Price is Right host Bob Barker taped his last episode of his hit daytime game show today signing off 30 years at the Price is Right and 50 years on day time television.
Bob's philosophy for his very last show taping was to treat this episode as if it was "just another show," and Barker did just that! He even signed off as he usually does reminding viewers to "Help control the pet population, have your pets spayed or neutered" and ending with "Goodbye everybody."
After signing off, Barker addressed the studio audience saying,
"I thank you, thank you, thank you for inviting me into your home for more than 50 years. I'm truly grateful and I hope that all of you have enjoyed your visit to `The Price Is Right.'"
The audience gave 83-year-old Barker a standing ovation from an adoring public and a giant shower of colorful confetti from his colleagues.
Bob's last show is scheduled to air on June 15.
