Hi-Five's Tony Thompson dead at 31
Sadly, here's another death to report.
Former Bad Boy artist and member of the group Hi-Five, Tony Thompson, was found dead on Friday in Waco Texas. He was 31 years old.
Thompson's friends told the Waco Tribune-Herald that he died of a drug overdose.
His hits with Hi-Five include "I Like the Way (The Kissing Game)," "I Can't Wait Another Minute," "Just Another Girlfriend" and "She's Playing Hard to Get."
Thompson signed with Jive Records in 1990 as part of Hi-Five. Thompson released his solo debut, "Sexsational," in 1995 after Hi-Five split.
The Waco native had recently moved back to his hometown to work on new material.

Tony's voice is like no other singer. He cannot be compared to anyone (If your saying he can I challenge you to tell me who). You know those great singers that can evoke emotions out of you, Tony had the ability to do that to me. You will be missed sweet heart but definitely not forgotten. Hi-five's number 1 fan straight out of Toronto,Canada. RIP Tony(I love you Angel).
