Fox sportscaster Bill Mass busted with drugs and guns
Former NFL football player and Fox Sports personality Bill Mass was busted over the weekend for toating cocaine, marijuana, Ecstasy and weapons during a roadside check. Paaartaaay!
Mass, 45, and a female passenger identified as Sarah J. Murphy, 27, were pulled over on a routine roadside check-point in Peoria, Ill on Friday. According to cops, Mass seemed nervous, but agreed to allow police to search his Hummer.
Inside the vehicle, authorities found 5 grams of suspected marijuana, 6 grams of suspected cocaine and 28 pills of Ecstasy. Mass was charged with drug and weapon possession, and his passenger was charged with drug possession. Both are residents of Lee's Summit, Mo.
Maas and Murphy were taken to the Tazewell County Jail and will appear for a bond hearing Sunday.
Bill Mass is currently working as commentator for Fox Sports. Maas was a defensive tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Green Bay Packers. In 1984 he was named The NFL Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press.
