Jackass prankster Johnny Knoxville born Philip John Clapp has filed for divorce from his wife Melanie Lynn Clapp citing "irreconcilable differences."

Johnny and Melanie have evidently been separated since last July and this step will simply make it official.  Knoxville asked for joint custody of their 11-year-old daughter Madison.

Johnny Knoxville is most known for his bizarre reality TV stunts, but he also starred in "The Dukes of Hazzard," "Men In Black II" and the "Jackass" franchise.
