Oprah blows up the internet with NYC ticket sales

Multiple websites from WABC in New York to tvtickets.blog have been overloaded all day long as Oprah Winfrey fans are battling to get tickets to her taping September 10 and 11 at the WaMu Theatre in Madison Square Garden.
The Oprah tickets went on sale at 9 a.m. this morning. The tickets were available on tvtickets.blog, but most fans say they missed the opportunity as the site couldn't hold the traffic.
"Due to the amount of interest in these tickets, some people are experiencing difficulties logging on to the ticket site as of 9:00 a.m. Friday," WABC's website - 7online.blog wrote.
The two shows will air live in Chicago, Winfrey's home base, and at 4 p.m. in New York City. This is the first time in nearly a decade since Oprah has done a show from the big apple.

Love that headline "Oprah blows up the Internet..."
Or as George Bush would say, "Oprah's WMDs made the Internets go nuc-u-lar..."
