Can every day kids become internet celebrities?
I have never really understood their appeal, but some YouTube users have becoming rather popular by doing nothing at all.
USA Today spotlighted (and somewhat knocked) four internet junkies who want to be celebrities, some even think they are famous. It's pretty sad really.
William Sledd, Tony Huynh, Ben Going and Matthew Lush were all given their few lines of fame in the paper, but I still don't get their appeal.
Lush was actually nominated the gaysocialites.blog GaySocialite of the Year award but lost to New York nightlife promoter Chris Ryan.
