International politics sends signs of change
If political changes internationally are any sign of what might happen in the US Presidential election in 2008, then things aren't looking too good for the friends of George W. Bush.
First Tony Blair, one of Bush's biggest foreign allies, stepped down as the Prime Minister in the U.K.
Then a woman (and First Lady), Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, was elected president of Argentina.
Now, Bush's buddy John Howard has been defeated in Australia.
Republicans should distance themselves from Bush, and Democrats should start trying to look very Vice-Presidential. At this point, it looks like Hillary Clinton will glide by with the Democratic nomination ultimately leading to the first female President in US history.
After 8 years of hellish rule under Bush, we need a Clinton to fix things up!
