SNL cans staff during writers' strike

It looks like Saturday Night Live is the latest victim of the writers strike as Page Six is reporting a source saying "90% of the SNL staff was fired."
Evidently Loren Michaels' struggling yet legendary show broke the news to the staff on Friday morning.
"SNL laid off all their staff until further notice. Their production staff, even long-term employees, were let go." Another source confirmed that "90 percent of the 'SNL' staff was fired."
Meanwhile, NBC is talking about doing teh same thing to their late night shows Tonight show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Last Call with Carson Daly.
The SNL cast is set to do a benefit performance on Saturday at the New York Upright Citizens Brigade Theater on West 26th Street. All proceeds will benefit the Writers Guild's Strike fund.
