Presidential candidate John Edwards normally seems as wholesome and all-American as apple pie and church on Sunday afternoon, but if the headline on the cover of National Enquirer holds any truth... Edwards may have lost his innocent edge.

The Drudge Report has the cover of the National Enquirer that comes out Wednesday in New York and Los Angeles.  According the photo at the Drudge Report, the headline reads "Exclusive: Presidential Race Bombshell."  The all caps headline screams in black and red letters, "John Edwards Love child scandal!"    A subtitle adds, "Woman linked to the candidate is pregnant and in hiding."
