Mike Huckabee wanted AIDS patients isolated

Republican presidential wannabe Mike Huckabee says he will NOT retract a statement he made in 1992 requesting the isolation of all AIDS patients.
I'm starting to think Huckabee will say whatever he thinks will get him elected. Can you say wishy-washy?
Back in the early 90's during a failed run for U.S. Senate in Arkansas Huckabee said he thought the government should "isolate the carriers of this plague (AIDS)."
"I had simply made the point -- and I still believe this today -- that in the late '80s and early '90s, when we didn't know as much as we do now about AIDS, we were acting more out of political correctness than we were about the normal public health protocols that we would have acted," Huckabee told Fox News on Sunday.
Huckabee has admitted he would take public support from the Log Cabin Republicans, the GOP's gay activist group.
Anything for a vote, I guess!

Huckabee has to gang up on the LGBT community to show us what a real man he is. If he has to pick on a group of American citizens why doesn't he pick a group that has the same rights, benefits & protections as he has?
