Judge doubles O.J.'s bail after scolding him like a child
O.J. Simpson was back in court on Wednesday trying to get out of the Clark County, Nevada jail system once again.
Things weren't looking too good for O.J. as the judge lashed out at the former football star for not paying his previously set bail.
"I don't know, Mr. Simpson, what the heck you were thinking -- or maybe that's the problem -- you weren't," Judge Jackie Glass added. "I don't know if it's just arrogance. I don't know if it's ignorance. But you've been locked up at the Clark County Detention Center since Friday because of arrogance or ignorance -- or both."
Along with that little lecture, the judge also decided to double Simpson's bail to $250,000. Evidently they'll use O.J.'s house for collateral.
Until he can come up with 15% of the bail in cash, the judge says the Juice has to stay in the clink.
Judge Glass reminded Simpson that he was not to contact any other defendants or leave the country. She also told him if he violated any of the terms of his bail again, he'd be locked up until his trial begins on April 7.
