Looks like Bill Richardson is out!
Not enough votes, not enough money. Word from New Mexico is that Bill Richardson is going to bow out of the presidential race. After two poor finishes in New Hampshire and Iowa, I'm sure it is hard for Bill to raise the money needed to keep up at this point.
Richardson is expected to announce his departure from the race for the White House on Thursday. He was elected to a second term as New Mexico governor in 2006, and before that he was a powerful force in Congress. Richardson also served in Bill Clinton's administration.
No word yet on whether Richardson will endorse one of the front runners Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama for the Democratic nod. Let's just hope John Edwards follows his lead.
