Cedrick Wilson: arrested, bailed out, unemployed

The past 24-hours have not been good for Cedrick Wilson. On Wednesday night, Wilson was arrested for assaulting his estranged girlfriend Lindsey Paulat, then on Thursday he was dropped by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Wilson was charged with assault, harassment and disorderly conduct after allegedly hitting his former girlfriend Wednesday night. He was arraigned and released Thursday on $10,000 bail.
Witnesses told cops they saw Wilson enter the bar, tap Paulat on the shoulder and then hit her in the face.
Lindsey and Cedric have a one-year-old daughter together.
Paulat, 26, was arrested on firearm charges after a 12-hour standoff with police in January. Lindsey is accused of firing two gunshots in Cedric's house during an argument.
Wilson, 29, applied for a protection from abuse order two days later, saying he feared she would shoot him.
Wilson has seven years NFL experience and played in 16 games for the Steelers last season, He has appeared in a total of 100 NFL games with the Steelers and San Francisco 49ers. He also attended the University of Tennessee with yours truly! I'm so proud of him now!
Now he is unemployed.
