Anti-love Pop songs

Steve Sidewalk's Top 5 anti-love pop songs
On Wednesday, I offered up my five top love songs that have made their way onto the pop charts.  Now, here are my favorite anti–love pop songs for those of you aren’t feeling the love this week.  I’ve included some of my favorite verses or a quote from each song.  Check them out below:

  1.  “Ghost” – Ella Henderson
A Great song about getting over someone…. and amazing vocals too from 6th place runner up of UKs XFactor 2012 and written by One Republic’s Ryan Tedder.

“I’m sleeping all these demons away
But your ghost, the ghost of you
It keeps me awake”

4.  Sam Smith – “I’m Not the Only one”
The song for those being cheated on.  This powerful song written and beautifuly sung by Sam Smith says it all.
“You say I’m crazy
‘Cause you don’t think I know what you’ve done
But when you call me baby
I know I’m not the only one”

3.  “Break Free” by Ariana Grande

An EDM Break up Anthem for the Clubs! This ZEDD produced hit features the new generations Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande.
“This is the part when I say I don’t want ya
I’m stronger than I’ve been before
This is the part when I break free”
2. “Habits” – Tove  Lo
A Real honest song about recovering from a bad breakup.  Maybe too honest.

“Binge on all my Twinkies
Throw up in the tub, then I go to sleep
And I drank up all my money
Days kind of lonely”

“Pick up daddies at the playground
How I spend my day time”

1. “Fuck Love”  – Iggy Azalea
“Fuck Love Give Me Diamonds”.  Enough Said.
So whether you’ve got love on the mind this Valentine’s Day or not, you’ve got a playlist to get you through it!
