Ariana Grande will headline the 2015 Dance on the Pier, the grande finale of New York City’s Gay Pride celebration.
The Dance on the Pier is known for attracting big names who help wrap up gay pride month each June in New York.
“We are delighted to welcome Ariana Grande to one of the world’s top-tier LGBT events,” said José Ramos, Dance Director. “Dance on the Pier is a highly-anticipated part of Pride, thanks in part to amazing DJs and incredible performers. This year will be no different.”
Previous headliners include such gay icons as Cher, Jennifer Lopez and Whitney Houston.
DJs Wayne G, The Cube Guys and Ralphi Rosario will also perform at the 2015 Dance on the Pier.
Dance on the Pier is not just a good party, it is NYC Pride’s largest fundraiser. The proceeds support NYC Pride’s annual events such as the historic Rally and March and more than $45,000 in grants to the local LGBT community.
This year’s Dance on the Pier will take place on the Hudson River Park’s Pier 26 in Tribeca. Tickets range from $150 to $1,500 and are on sale now.
