Transvestite, transgender, bi-gender, cross-dresser, transexual, drag queen. Say what you must about our men in heels or our ladies in neckties (and our women in tight dresses and men in wingtip shoes). There’s no denying the impact these individuals have when it comes to acting on 35mm. With the recent Golden Globes nomination of Glenn Close as Best Actress for her role in Albert Nobbs (I don’t think they even needed a make-up budget), I felt it only necessary to share my own Top 5 Rundown of the most entertaining and “straight” out insane films depicting or involving the subject matter.
